Felix sits on the ground, approximately equidistant from the lake, the forest, and the bar. He takes a moment to clear his mind before nodding firmly.

As the note grows, each Djinni begins to glow a brilliant yellow. Felix begins to feel as though each is a small sun, emitting a great deal of heat and light.

At last the crescendo culminates. The earth rumbles as the Djinn flash and release the sound.

They all become dark.

Felix feels like he is being twisted and torn. He can hear his bones moving in ways they were never designed to.

Eventually it stops. Felix has become a black cat. Around his neck is a blue collar with the Tremor Bit mounted on it.

He heads back into Milliways, having left the door open behind him.
